About Fortuna
Fortuna Forest Products Limited is a log trading company based in Auckland, New Zealand. Established and registered in 2011, we have been shipping New Zealand pine logs and other varieties to Asian regions, primarily to China.
With our many years in the industry, we have become one of the largest exporters of the NZ Radiata pine log variety throughout Asia. We export our products through our 7 New Zealand ports: Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, Tauranga, Marsden Point, Port Taranaki and Port Marlborough.
We own forests across New Zealand’s North Island. We engaged and partnered with a local, reputable forest management company to maintain, manage, and harvest our forests.
We believe that providing support to local communities and the forest industry, as well as satisfying the needs of customers, are among the important factors that are needed in a sustainable business.
Our Product
The Radiata pine is one of New Zealand’s primarily traded log species. It makes up about 90% of the production forests of the country. It is a popular species that has many applications, including furniture, plywood, pulp, packaging, and construction.
Fortuna Forest Products Limited primarily supplies the Radiata pine log in all lengths and grades, including Prune, AO grade, A grade, K grade, KI grade and KIS grade. Depending on the needs of the customers, we can supply in small quantities or load up a full gigantic vessel.
We also supply other log species, including the Douglas Fir, Poplar, Eucalyptus, Macrocarpa and Spruce.
Our Team
The Fortuna Forest Products Limited company has three core teams: operating, marketing, and shipping. Our teams are comprised of enthusiastic, energetic, and vibrant individuals, who share the same passion and dedication for work. As a company, we are proud of our team’s efficiency and professionalism.
Our Goal
As a forest owner and exporter, we care about the environment. That is why we comply with all the laws and regulations, and make sure to replant trees right after harvesting them from our very own forest land. In the coming years, we aim to continue purchasing more trees and become a sustainable exporter of high-quality logs.
